Sweet Potato French Fries

Available: IGA, Metro.

Allergen: Wheat flour.

Ingredients: Sweet potatoes, vegetable oil (soybean oil and/or canola oil), modified potato starch, rice flour, wheat Flour, corn dextrin, salt, sea salt, spices, xanthan gum, sodium phosphate..

Cooking instructions

Heating Instructions - Since appliances vary, heating instructions are guidelines only. DO NOT OVERCOOK. CAUTION: Sweet potato french fries will be hot; use caution when removing.

Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF / 230ºC.

  2. Spread frozen fried potatoes in a single layer on a cooking sheet or a shallow baking dish.

  3. Bake 18 to 22 minutes to desired colour and crispness, turning potatoes once or twice.

  4. Serve immediately after cooking.

Deep fryer

  1. Preheat fryer to 350ºF

  2. Place frozen fried potatoes in fryer, no more than half full.

  3. Cook 2 ½ minutes to desired colour and crispness, then remove fryer basket and excess of oil.

  4. Serve immediately after cooking.
